As some may know, TADA* was appointed creative agency for NDP 2016’s Branding & Publicity Committee.
Our 1st meeting with the Chairman of B&P and his team was in February and we officially started work on NDP in March.
This was a great chance for a small and young agency such as ours to have our designs seen by the majority of Singapore!
Here’s a summary of what went on.
Our engagement began with me joining the judging panel for the NDP logo competition.
Our panel of 5 shortlisted the logos down to the final 10 which was then voted on by netizens on FB.
The winning logo by 19 year-old student Chelsea Lim was coincidentally my top pick as the one with the most potential.
Our next task was to edit the logo for practical usage across various mediums while keeping it true to the original design.
This is coupled with an extensive guideline to be observed by anyone using the logo.
Our day to day duties as brand custodians for NDP 2016 see all manner of artworks coming to us for approvals.
I would like to take a moment to thank all involved in trusting our expertise and making our jobs much easier than expected.
Overall, more than 200 artworks went through our scrutiny.
– END PART 1 –
Next, we will take a look at the the various artworks designed.
